Yes, yes, we all know the theme song and now that it is cycling through my head for the umpteenth time this morning, there is an exhibition currently running at the Australian Museum, Sydney of original artwork by cartoonist Charles Addams, creator of the Addams Family.
Addams’ own life was bizarre enough to explain the macabre humour found in his cartoons, not least a potentially homicidal second wife who I’m assuming was later the inspiration for Uncle Fester’s wife in the second film.
